De mãos dadas pela educação? Brasil e Estados Unidos "Partnership for Education"

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Brazilian Foreign Minister Celso Amorim signed a memorandum for Continuing Cooperation in Education. Was created in 1997 and provides a mechanism for Brazil and the United State to focus on common challenges in improving education at all levels, for all our citizens. After the establishment of the Partnership, the two governments witnessed dynamic cooperation among universities, non-governmental organizations, and educators in both countries.
In particular, the Ministry of Education of Brazil and the U.S. Department of Education jointly established the U.S.-Brazil Higher Education Consortia Program, fostering university partnerships. Over the course of the Partnership, our two countries have held binational dialogues bringing together senior education officials to discuss topics of mutual interest. Over 500 people from both countries participated in exchange programs ranging from seminars and workshops to in-depth consultations by education experts. Fonte: U.S. Department of State. By Ton.
